In 2014 the quincentenary of Vesalius’s birth will be commemorated in different places around the world. This pioneer of modern anatomy was an alumnus of Leuven University. KU[N]ST Leuven, a not-for-profit organization created jointly by the City of Leuven and KU Leuven, is offering a wide-ranging programme of cultural, academic and tourist events in the autumn of 2014 around the theme Vesalius and the human body.
