The University of Utah libraries recognize the contributions to anatomy, medicine, education, and book design of Andreas Vesalius (1514-1564). HisDe Humani Corporis Fabrica is an exquisite piece of Renaissance creativity that blends observation; organization of information, format, typography; and illustration into an integrated whole to accurately describe the human body.
