Dear sir Plessas, some years ago I published on Internet a study about the motives of Vesalius' pilgrimage. Now I want to look further on his last months. I know the habits of graves en epitaphs on copper (Zuallaert, Führer) in our country. I dont know funeral habits in Greek churches. Wy did Pigafetta see a black tissue with gorld letters in the church, with Vesalius' name on it? There was an epitaph in S. Maria delle Grazie, or outside the wall, but not a grave.. Of course not. Thank you for your answer. Jozef Verheyden.
